ABOUT US
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that by putting their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, believers are made part of the Body of Christ, with Jesus Christ as the Head. The Scriptures direct believers to gather locally to engage in worship, prayer, teaching of the Word, communion, ordinances of baptism and communion, service to the local body through the development and use of talents, and spiritual gifts, and outreach to the world to make disciples. Wherever God's people regularly meet in obedience to this command, there is the local expression of the church under the watchful care of a plurality of elders. As members of the church we must work together in love and unity with the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ (Ephesians 4:16).
We believe in the only true and living God, who exists eternally, in perfect unity as three in one, each one equally divine: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each member of the Trinity, while performing distinct but complementary roles in redemptive history, has precisely the same nature, attributes, and being, and is equally worthy of the same glory, honor, and obedience. We believe that Jesus Christ the son, came and died on the cross of Calvary for the redemption of our sins and rose again on the third day from the grave and because he lives we live and will have eternal life with him.
